Kimmo Pohjonen, Finland Kimmo Pohjonen is an original. He may have ties to the folk music scene in Finland, but his music transcends all the boundaries that are offered: folk, jazz, avant garde, they all seem insufficient to describe the work of this theatrical and agressive instrumentalist. Pohjonen has offered us this recording of his compostion "Zwack" especially for the festival this year. This work is created using live electronic efects and accordion, and reflects what you would hear live on stage at a performance by Pohjonen, although you are still deprived of the dramatic theatre of lights and enviroment that is often at the heart of one of his concerts.
