This is a trio of masters. Stefano del Vecchio, aka Ciuma (Emilia Romangna), Mario Salvi (Puglia) and Roberto Tombesi (Veneto) offer a trans-Italian viewpoint, that is steeped in their regional traditions (saltarello, tarantella, etc...) but is always forward looking, bringing the unique individual styles into a new whole.

These artists are well known as soloists and as members of some of Italy's important ensembles. This is a new work, "Falo," composed by Maurizio Failoni and Roberto Tombesi. This track was premiered in the 2001 festival, and is now available on their 2002 release Il Mare di Lato
